It was nice being a team leader based on my own actions; I
felt I was leading by example by doing all those things I wanted to see each
member of my team to do. I will continue to do just that with or without the
title. I still believe in leading by example.
Your list is the PSAs and CSAs on your team. I think you
will have to keep recruiting until that list begins to grow on its own; when
others on your team see the importance of advertising, promoting and building
their team.
I chose from the beginning that it was best to rely on the
expertise of others. I started building my team by making EA the second month
with a standing order. SFI rewards you with two CSAs. Doesn’t sound like much
but most of your income will come by your CSAs when you make team leader. The
problem with this now is finding Personally Sponsored Affiliates that are
willing to be actively engaged in learning the trade and willing to make EA two
months in a row. It does not really cost anything if they follow the plan; sign
in every day and complete the tabs, complete the Launch Pad Lessons one each
one day at a time and only do as many Getting Started or Intermediate or
Advance actions as they need to. Ideally you would only do what you can
practice and learn before moving on but you can always review the information
later.
Your first two years are just school. If you have an income,
think of SFI as your investment in the future, your future. You will still need to learn what SFI has to
teach you and that means reading the material they have made available for
free. There are really no shortcuts to wealth; this is why few people make it.
So, while you are learning new skills to become an effective affiliate you are
building your list and building a team. Do not think about your income, you
won’t be rich anytime soon regardless of what you do. One thing is for sure, if
you don’t follow the SFI plan or some other real affiliate program you will
still be in the same position you are today 3 to five years from now. If you
are living pay check to pay check like most Americans are you still will be in
as many years down the road. If you are poor or your life style is below your
own standards you will be the same if you are still looking to get lucky and
become rich quickly instead of building your wealth with intention and direct
purpose over the time it takes to do so. Not too long ago this process took
more than one generation; you can now do it in less than ten years.
This not a difficult journey but it is a long one. Finding
the right people takes time and talent you can only learn by doing or investing

Becoming a team leader by my own efforts was worth the cost
every month to me. I will miss it. The way it works now makes it non-productive
to focus on making as many VersaPoints as possible to reach team leader status.
Instead I will be focusing on investing in promoting my links and using the
resources above to build my team. It really makes sense anyway; your income
depends on the number of affiliates actively engaged and spending a little
money every month. When you have five affiliates capable of investing enough
each month to become an Executive Affiliate, you will make money. In theory
this plan works even if each member buys whatever they can afford to invest
every month.Theories usually work well in a vacuum, not in real life.
Instead of trying to become a team leader, focus on becoming
EA each month, you have control of that to a greater degree. Set your standing
order to make EA each month automatically. If other members on your team do the
same you will be making money each month. Your wealth does not come from this
action however; it begins when you start seeing your second, third and fourth
generation doing the same thing. You will not earn commissions from your PSAs sales
or the purchases their team makes but you will earn matching shares that
increase your income from the executive pool, this is where the wealth is.
Invest in the ECAs that help build your team and the co-ops
that work best for you. If you cannot afford to invest as much each month your
work is learning how to build your business by reading and following the
instructions given in SFI. The Forum and Ask SC answers will be a lot of help.
Chances are your sponsor knows as much as you do. I hardly ever hear from mine,
TrafficSwarm is a traffic exchange and they have never sent an email to me; and
Stone Evans our up-line sponsor only sends encouraging truth about the benefits
of working hard; more often these days than he ever did when I got started.
Stone Evans uses his own system to continually build his team and it seems to
be working for him; Plug-in-Profit. It’s not a cheap program and I find it a
little too expensive myself. He has a 30 day plan I have been working on for
two years now. It involves several sources of income which can be a little
distracting and spreading your attention thin; especially if you have limited
time and resources. I simply chose to focus on SFI because it was affordable to
start with.
It’s always a good time to get started. Never mind what you
have been trying to do to make a lot of money fast or without any effort. When
you get tiered of spinning your wheels, SFI will still be here and so will I.
I am here to help you if you are willing to do the simple
task of signing in and doing the required reading. The prize goes to those that
get their homework done and preserver regardless of their current
circumstances. Like I said, it was nice having a team leader badge; you need to
be one with or without it. We are all followers of the SFI plan.
